PRE TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
INDICATIONS
PDO Threads are designed for: 
- Instant Skin Lifting through mechanical effects 
- Cellular Renewal, through Collagen stimulation, and neovascularization to improve skin texture, fine lines and elasticity 
- Skin Tightening, by contracting fat tissue 
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Acute inflammatory processes or skin diseases in the area of intervention; 
- Acute respiratory viral infection; 
- Any chronic diseases in their acute phase; 
- Arterial hypertension; 
- HIV infection, viral hepatitis; 
- Autoimmune and somatic diseases; 
- Hemophilia (bleeding disorders); 
- Propensity to form keloid scars; 
- Polyvalent allergy; 
- Oncological diseases; 
- Reception of anticoagulants, antiaggregant; 
- Mental and neurotic disorders; 
- Menstruation (1 week); 
- Pregnancy, lactation; 
- Previously introduced non-biodegradable injection materials, implants in the area of the procedure; 
- Any other contraindications as decided by your doctor. 
SIDE EFFECTS & ADVERSE EVENTS: 
Swelling, Tenderness, Firmness, Bruising, Lumps/bumps, Dislodging of thread, Redness, Pain, Discoloration, Itching, Dryness, and/or Infection.

POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
  
PDO Theard Lift After Care
- It may take 2 weeks or longer for the treatment effect to be noticeable 
- Swelling is normal and expected – apply cool compress for 10 minutes every hour to decrease swelling 
- Bruising can occur with threads – Arnica in the form of pills/pellets, topical cream or patch may be used to accelerate healing 
- Asymmetry and irregularity of tissue treated are common and will resolve on their own after swelling goes down 
- Pain at the injection site(s) is normal and may last for several days or even up to 1 moth after treatment. Tylenol may be used for pain as needed 
- Wash your face upwards in the direction of the threads 
- Sleep elevated for 3-5 night 
- Try not to smile or perform any dramatic facial movements after the treatment for 24 hrs., they may cause strain on the threads 
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 7 days 
- Avoid facial massages, facial aesthetic treatments or dental procedures for 1 month 
- If you see any irregularity or puckering of the skin of the treated areas, please do not attempt to fix this on your own. This is normal and may persist for 1-2 weeks. Contact your clinician after 2 weeks if it has not resolved 
- If any threads are exposed or start to extrude, please notify your clinician 
Call office immediately:
- If you experience increased redness, swelling, heat, oozing or pain around the treated area 
- If you are experiencing fever or any other abnormal symptoms 
- If one or more of the threads begin to extrude 
- If you have any questions or concerns regarding your treatment
